Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive La Malbai Pointe-au-Pic (32 km/20 mi) - This is my favourite
Highway 362 East
As you drive between Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive and La Malbaie Pointe-au-Pic you’ll be greeted by some of the most spectacular scenery in the Charlevoix region , with superb vistas of the countryside and the St. Lawrence. At the turn of the century, La Malbaie Pointe-au-Pic was the most famous resort area in Canada. The Manoir Richelieu hotel drew wealthy summer visitors from far and wide. Along the chemin des Falaises, you can still admire the impressive villas and summer homes from that period, some of which have been turned into welcoming inns. The area continues to enchant visitors, with its charming, peaceful atmosphere and superb cuisine.

Motreal - Village Quebecois
In the heart of Quebec lies a village where earlier ways of life are in harmony with present day living. This typical French-Canadian rural village recreates the 1810-1910 period.
Bordering the St-François River over a distance of 2km, the Village Québécois d'Antan, a cultural, educational and touristic site, is filled with history. All and all, it is a village "meant to spark memories". It is a non-profit corporation and is duly recognized as a charity organization.
Some forty authentic buildings were transported from the "Central Quebec Region" and another twenty are replicas built by artisans. These buildings are grouped on one of the first plots of land colonized in the Wendover township to create a fascinating site. Many of our ancestors lived in these houses and, therefore, are part of our roots and heritage.
Make it worth your while to discover this interesting site
